ABOUT ME

EARLY YEARS

Born and raised in the City of Lights! I can't say that I have enjoyed very much my childhood besides horseback riding, the passion that kept me sane!

I was in a private catholic school and as much as they prepared me academically with very high standards, they taught nothing else, except for their view of religion.

What unfortunately they taught me on a personal level is lack of confidence, lack of trust, lack of self worth and everything that could come with it. They were condescendant and despising all these years, and their behavior actually taught me to fight to prove that nobody could decide for me what I was able to do or not. Because of social differences, they consider that I didn't have much chance in the future academically and convinced my parents that I could maybe go through 9th but maybe not much more!. when I discovered that information, I worked harder, worked longer, never quitted and studied, studied and studied! And LOVED it! I took every single challenge I could (2 Bachelors degree and an Associate degree in 3 years instead of 5). Master level in communication after that and went back to school while working to study counseling, human ressources and addiction. After moving to the US, again I went back to school while working and raising my daughter on my own to study Interior Design, as well as going to numerous training to be a certified International educator. "Couldn't study" they said, I wanted to prove them wrong and then that became a real passion for learning! I should thank them one day I guess!

SEARCHING FOR MORE

As much as I always wanted to prove something, I also was always looking for meaning, meaning of life, events. How can we find the answer to The "big" question: why are we here?"

I began my spiritual quest while working in a small communication agency and kept the search when I opened my own business. I had the chance and the luxury in some ways to manage my time between work and quest!. I began to follow different spiritual teachers, in France but also in the United States. I went on spiritual trips in Mauritania, San Francisco and New Mexico (Chaco Canyon). This was my "secret life", none of my clients really knew what I was doing during my vacation or where I was going!. I also began to be the translator of one of the spiritual teachers I was following. So when he would come to Paris or going to Padova in Italy, I would follow him and translate his workshops and healing sessions for his clients. And it is during these workshops that I met my husband!

MOVE TO THE US

So, here I am, Charles de Gaulle Airport, 3 month pregnant, 3 suitcases and 3 hours to wait before embarking in the most extra-ordinary journey that I would never have been able to even imagine! Extra-ordinary could have been good, mostly but in my case it is the basic meaning of these words, nothing ordinary happened to me during the next few years of my life. I went from Paris to Yuma in Arizona. After three months there, we had to move to Roswell, New Mexico until the day the father of my daughter left without notice! She was a year and a half, and I had to figure out what to do and how to survive! I sold what I had, took what was left, my daughter and moved to Santa Fe to begin a new life for her and for me!
